The Atlas Model: SEE, UNDERSTAND, MOVE

A complete walkthrough of the three-phase backbone of The Atlas Method — what each phase means, how it sequences, and why most people skip the middle.

The Atlas Model is the navigation system inside The Atlas Method. Three phases. Always in order. Almost always violated by skipping the middle one.

    SEE — accurately, before reacting

What is actually happening — in the room, in the body, in the system. Not what you assume. Not what your story says. What the data says, before interpretation gets a vote.

UNDERSTAND — the why under the what

Why is this happening, for them and for you? What need is unmet? What history is in the room? What is the meaning each person is making of the same event?

MOVE — the smallest right next step

Once you actually see and understand, the right next move is usually small, specific, and obvious. The work is earning the right to move by not skipping the first two.
